RGBW Color, Pure White and Functional Signal Modes
LOYO RGBW rock lights combine color-changing underbody lighting with a dedicated white LED channel. Unlike RGB-only lights that create white by mixing red, green and blue, the separate white LEDs produce a cleaner, more natural-looking white glow.
Use the RGB modes for truck meets, Jeep events and parked displays, then switch to white when you want to see around the wheels, suspension or campsite. The diffused 360-degree design spreads light around each pod, creating smoother wheel-well and underbody coverage instead of a small concentrated spot.
The system can also connect to the vehicle’s brake and turn signal circuits. When correctly wired, all pods illuminate red during braking, while the pods on the corresponding side illuminate amber with the turn signal. This wiring is optional, so the RGBW lighting can still operate without connecting the signal functions.
Colors, brightness, effects and music modes can be adjusted through the mobile App or included RF remote. Dual-zone control allows the two sides to be managed independently, while 121 preset modes make it easy to change the appearance without building each effect manually.
Choose the Right Number of Rock Lights
| Pod Quantity | Recommended For | Typical Coverage |
|---|---|---|
| 4 Pods | ATVs, UTVs, motorcycles and compact builds | Basic lighting around four mounting areas |
| 8 Pods | Jeeps and midsize trucks | Two pods around each wheel area |
| 12 Pods | Full-size and lifted trucks | Wheel wells plus frame or rocker areas |
| 16 Pods | Long-wheelbase trucks and show builds | More continuous underbody and perimeter coverage |
Pod quantity depends on the wheelbase, lift height and the effect you want. Four pods create basic wheel-well lighting, while 8 to 12 pods provide a smoother look on most trucks and Jeeps. A long-bed or heavily lifted truck may need 12 or 16 pods to reduce dark gaps.
Each pod provides approximately 11.5 ft (3.5 m) of wiring reach, and two additional 4.9 ft extension cables are included. The brake wire is approximately 13 ft long and the turn signal wires are approximately 8 ft long. Measure the intended mounting positions before ordering, especially for crew-cab and long-bed trucks.
The universal 9–36V system can be used on builds including the Ford F-150 and F-250, Chevrolet Silverado, GMC Sierra, Ram trucks, Toyota Tacoma and Tundra, Jeep Wrangler and Gladiator, Polaris RZR and Can-Am vehicles. This is a universal rock light kit rather than a model-specific bolt-on product, so mounting and wiring routes vary by vehicle.
The App and RF remote communicate wirelessly, but the pods still require wired power and controller connections. These are not battery-powered or cable-free rock lights.

What is the difference between RGB and RGBW rock lights?
RGB lights mix red, green and blue to create different colors, including a simulated white that may look slightly tinted. RGBW lights add dedicated white LEDs for a cleaner white glow while retaining full color control.
How many rock lights do I need for my truck?
Eight pods work well for many midsize trucks and Jeeps. Full-size, lifted or long-wheelbase trucks normally benefit from 12 or 16 pods when smoother wheel-well and underbody coverage is required.
Can these rock lights work with brake and turn signals?
Yes. When connected to the appropriate circuits, all pods illuminate red during braking and the pods on the turning side illuminate amber. These functions require additional automotive wiring.
Are these wireless rock lights?
The App and RF remote controls are wireless, but every pod still requires a wired connection to the controller. The kit is not battery powered.
Are the pods and controller waterproof?
The rock light pods are IP68 rated. The controller is not waterproof and must be installed in a dry, protected location.
Will the wiring reach across a full-size truck?
The supplied wiring works for many common truck installations and includes two additional extension cables. Crew-cab, long-bed and heavily modified vehicles should be measured before ordering.
